When I (Greta) first found out I was pregnant, I couldn’t wait to get started on the nursery. The gender of our baby was a surprise, so we knew we were going to do a gender neutral room. However, once I got started on the project, I was quickly overwhelmed with all of the options out there. There were so many different themes, colors, etc. I had no idea what direction to go in. After lots of pinterest, instagram & tiktok browsing, we landed on a “To the Moon & Back”/ cloud theme, and I am SO in love with how it all turned out.
Creating a gender-neutral nursery doesn’t mean sacrificing style or personality. By combining a timeless “To the Moon and Back” theme with thoughtful design choices like a neutral checkerboard wall and sage green accents, we crafted a peaceful, stylish space that we love. I’m sharing all of the links from Sterling’s nursery in hopes that it helps someone get some nursery decor ideas for their baby’s room. As always, please reach out with any questions, or if you just need a second opinion, we are happy to help in any way! Stay tuned for a tutorial on how we DIY’d the hand painted checkerboard wall!
xx, Greta
