Greta’s Bridal Showers

Greta was lucky to be showered by sooo many loved ones leading up to her big day. The level of thought and care that went into the planning of each of her showers was so unbelievable, we just had to share some photos. I (Anna) have helped throw a few showers over the years, so I know firsthand how much goes into planning events like these… and let me tell you, all of these showers were above and beyondddd. So thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this happen and made celebrating Greta so special!

For those of you here looking for bridal shower inspo, we’ve got you! While we can’t take credit for any of these events, we’ll provide links to similarly inspired items to help you put on your next event. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out! Also, if you’re a bride looking for Bridal Shower outfit ideas, stay tuned – we’ll share those soon! But in the meantime, check out this post for some good options:

Shower #1

Greta’s first shower was at our aunt Sherri’s house, in Iowa. If you can’t tell… creativity and event planning kiiiiinda run in the family. From the pampas grass and dried floral arrangements to the gold glitter in the champagne, we couldn’t have done it better ourselves! What made this even more special, was that all of G+G’s grandmas were able to attend!

Shower #2

Next up, was a shower hosted by some of our mom’s book club friends (shout out to the BBC – IYKYK). The shower was a 70s flower power theme complete with a flower crown for the bride. The daisies in the drinks were one of my favorite touches, but the cake and the signage were also up there.

Shower #3

Shower #3 was hosted by some of Greta’s Mother-in-law’s friends (many of whom we also happen to know)! They truly thought of every single detail. The flowers and desserts were breathtaking, and the scratch off game (with custom matches) was so much fun!

Shower #4

This brings us to Greta’s final shower. This North Loop shower was hosted by one of Greta’s best friends, Kelly, and her mom, Christine. It was so fun to have a party in this stunning party room, and it was a beautiful day so spilling out onto the rooftop was an added bonus. Featuring signs by Ann & Viv and the coolest ice cubes by Kelly herself, expectations were yet again exceeded.

Family Girls Trip/Bachelorette Party

Last, but not least, we had to share some photos from the fun joint “bach party” we threw for Greta and our cousin Carly. We’ve made it a bit of a tradition to do a family girls trip anytime someone gets married. It’s been such a fun tradition, and we’re so happy we were able to celebrate these two. Without further ado, here are some photos from our long weekend in FL with our fam!
